I graduated in May 2020 from Howard University with a B.B.A in marketing. As a new graduate, I had no clue what I wanted to do and the pandemic made it even harder. In the meantime, I decided to start my own business, Above The Baar offering a line of satin lined headwear to help protect natural hair. I created and currently manage the site for this business and was surprised to feel an immense satisfaction from the process of creating something that I knew would be consumed by and helpful to a larger audience. That's when I started to feel passionate about the world of UX design and finally took the leap of faith to start the Google UX Design program. This is where I gained skills in UX Design and continue to learn everyday!
